But I'm a sexy bitch, and I feel a connection to goddesses who were described as sexy bitches. And I'm also a slight bit of a maltheist, just like many ancient peoples (including the Mesopotamians). My religion's a.well, it's a bit of a weird one, largely based off Babylonian mythology and sex/sensation worship. I'll go ahead and throw my sanity (or what little I have) into the ring: I'm neither a Christian or an atheist.

Until then, look forward to me tearing apart this turd. It might be a long time before I review this movie, mainly because I'll have to be very careful with what I say.

Speaking of which, I'm going to have to watch that movie just to start to get the disgust out of my head left over from this. When I review the movie, I'm going to have to bring up my thoughts on religion as a whole(it's kind of imperative that I do), just like I will most likely have to when I review Sausage Party, which does a message about religion a MILLION times better than this.

We get everything from "What horrible thing happened to you to make you not believe in God?" to "Why do you hate God?" to "How can you be moral without God?" This is the kind of shit that apologetics preach all the time, and the way it's delivered in this movie makes it even MORE irritating to listen to than usual. It takes every single opportunity the characters have to argue against atheism and for the existence of God with bullshit arguments. The reason this movie sucks is that it preaches it BADLY.Īs you could see from the very opening credits, the research used for this movie is from apologetics, and as such, the logic used in the movie is along those lines. With that said, the reason this movie sucks isn't because I disagree with what it preaches. Essentially, I don't disrespect the religious, but the religions themselves. However, that does not mean that I don't respect those people that follow religion of any kind. I'm of the belief of anti-theism, which means that I think religion is, in general, not a good thing at all.

My feelings about religion are very.particular. I'm an atheist, which should be obvious to those who have followed me long enough. It's the kind that goes against everything I believe in when it comes to the world, and I'm not talking about the religious stuff. SUBJECTIVELY, however, this is the movie I despise the most. There are movies out there that could be argued are technically worse, such as Where the Dead Go to Die. Let me make this clear: This isn't OBJECTIVELY the worst movie ever. I say the following with no hyperbole: God's Not Dead is the worst movie I've ever seen. Most of the time, I stand by my opinion, but sometimes, there are times where I let my emotions at the time get the better of me, and it can lead to me being overly harsh on something. Anyone who follows me knows that I can be pretty damn harsh to even some of the most beloved movies of all time. Now, I will admit, there have been plenty of times where I feel I've been overly negative towards a movie. I mean that in the most literal way possible. Before episode 3 came out one of the bedtime stories my dad would tell was a fanfiction version of what he thought the vader duel would be, in his version Anakin fell into lava while him and obi wan were facing darth maul with robot legs and obi wan had to leave him to escape with his life, obi wan thought Anakin was dead but palatine rescued him and kept him alive in his vader suit and convinced him that it was obi wan who betrayed him ultimately that’s what turned him to the dark side.Mere words can not express the amount of disgust I feel towards this movie. I remember him tapping on general grievous saying “this guy is gonna be fucking scary” I asked about boga and he said he was a good boy and when we got to the page with the mustifar play set my eyes lit up, “Is that where Anakin becomes darth Vader?” I asked “oh yeah” he said. I remember my dad coming home at 2 am from work to show me the obi wan lightsaber he got (it’s his favorite lightsaber from when he saw old Ben and it was the first time they made a toy of it) and we sat up late flipping through the little toy catalogue and he was explaining who all the characters were, the movie hadn’t come out yet but he had read “labyrinth of evil” and we watched the old clone wars.
